How to Activate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Sablono

Written by Jorge Mora

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Sablono account. Once enabled, it requires a time-based one-time password (TOTP) generated by an authenticator app in addition to your usual login credentials.

This guide walks you through setting up MFA on your account.

How to Activate MFA:

  1. Go to Your Profile
Log in to Sablono on the web, click your profile icon, and navigate to the Profile page.

  2. Enable MFA
In the Multi-Factor Authentication section, click Enable. A QR code will appear in the following dialogue.

  3. Scan with an Authenticator App
Use any TOTP-compatible app (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) to scan the QR code.

  4. Verify
Enter the 6-digit code from the app to complete setup.

How It Works:

  • You’ll be asked to enter a 6-digit code when logging in on web and mobile.

  • Web sessions expire after 7 days.

  • Mobile sessions expire after 30 days.

That’s it! MFA adds an important layer of protection to your Sablono account.
