First steps with Sablono

Sablono is divided into three sections:

  • PLAN - here you can plan and set up your project.
  • WORK - here you document the progress of your projects.
  • REVIEW - here you can keep track of the progress already done in your project.

Please start working with Sablono in the PLAN section. As a first step, you should create or import your project. Either you can create your project entirely in Sablono or you import your data from Microsoft Project, Asta Power Project, Oracle Primavera, or Microsoft Excel.

In Sablono you have to assign a template to every Deliverable in order to be able to document its progress. Templates are defined workflows that will be stored and therefore can be (re-)used at all times. Thus, you only have to create one Template for each identical Deliverable. After its creation, the Template can be assigned to all relevant Deliverables. This approach saves time but also ensures highly detailed documentation of the progress of your Deliverables.

After you set up your project and assigned a Template to every Deliverable, you can now start documenting the status of the project. To do so please use our mobile Sablono application on your smartphone or tablet. With it, you are able to document the status of your Deliverables with three values - pending, in progress, done. It is also possible to save notes, meaning claims, obstructions, and info, specifically for each Deliverable. Of course, you can also add pictures to your notes. The Sablono App also offers a much more schedule-oriented task management, with one tab for the Activities to be executed in the next 7 days and the ones that are behind schedule.

If you want to keep track of your project use the REVIEW section. In REVIEW all the documented data will be collected and evaluated. You will find a project Dashboard (see image below) that provides a quick overview of the project, a detailed progress of the project's Deliverables page, a traditional Gantt chart, a detailed overview of Notes, and an Update timeline. Furthermore, you can visualize the state of your project using Visual Trackers uploaded to the platform. Of course, you can always export your project data as a PDF and send it to your team members to keep them updated.
