In the Today App you will only see the activities that your team is either responsible for or that your team needs to confirm, these are grouped by Deliverables and sorted by Due Date. If a Responsible Manager was setup within your team, you will only find Deliverables that were assigned to you or not assigned to any Responsible Manager. Depending on the team that you are in the activities shown will differ slightly. There are three options:

  • You are responsible for the Activity.
  • You are responsible to confirm the Activity.
  • You are a member in the Full-Access-team.

Let’s now have a more detailed look at this now.

I am responsible for the Activity – Which ones will I be able to see?

You will be able to see all Activities that your Team is either responsible for or that were not assigned to any specific Team. This includes activities that are not finished yet and:

  • Activities planned within the next 7 days according to the “Look ahead schedule” defined on the Week Plan (if available) or (if not available) according to the “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities which are available because all their predecessors are already finished and confirmed, meaning they can be started right away.
  • Late activities which were planned in the past according to the “Look ahead” or “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities which still include open issues that your team is responsible for, independent from when those activities were planned, who is responsible for them or which state they currently show.

Furthermore, you will be able to update and report progress on the following:

  • Activities that you are responsible for (“not started”, “work started”, “finished”)
  • QA checklist (if attached) while reporting “work started” or “finished”
  • Issues that your Team is responsible for
  • Create new issues on any Activity that you find in your lists (see above)

I am responsible for confirming the Activity – Which ones will I be able to see?

You will see all Activities that you are supposed to confirm which can be both not finished yet or finished and are furthermore:

  • Planned within the next 7 days according to the “Look ahead schedule” defined on the Week Plan (if available) or (if not available) according to the “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities which are available for the Responsible Team because all their predecessors are already finished and confirmed (if needed).
  • Late activities which were planned in the past according to the “Look ahead” or “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities that you are responsible to confirm if they still have open issues independent of which team is responsible to resolve them.
  • Activities which still include open issues that your team is responsible for, independent from when those activities were planned, who is responsible for them or which state they currently show (this includes the Activities that are already confirmed).

Furthermore, you will be able to update and report progress on the following:

  • Activities they you are supposed to confirm (you will only be able to “confirm”)
  • QA checklist (if attached) while reporting “confirmed”
  • Issues that your Team is responsible for
  • Create new issues on any Activity that you find in your lists (see above)

I am in the Full-Access-Team – Which Activities will I be able to see?

You will be able to report progress on and confirm every activity in the project, even those which have been assigned to another team. Therefore, you will see all activities in your Today app that are:

  • Planned within the next 7 days according to the “Look ahead schedule” defined on the Week Plan (if available) or (if not available) according to the “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities which are available for the Responsible Team because all their predecessors are already finished and confirmed (if needed).
  • Late activities which were planned in the past according to the “Look ahead” or “Baseline schedule”.
  • Activities which still include open issues that your team is responsible for, independent from when those activities were planned, who is responsible for them or which state they currently show.

Furthermore, you will be able to update and report progress on the following:

  • All Activities that you have access to from your list (“not started”, “work started”, “finished”, “confirmed”)
  • QA checklist (if attached) while reporting “work started”, “finished” or “confirmed”
  • All Issues that you have access to from the Today app
  • Create new issues on any Activity that you find in your lists (see above)
